This guitar is the third-place winner of the Aosen Instruments 25th Anniversary Design Competition. The design is based on the theme of the dragon, inspired by a phrase from the Han Shu (Book of Han): "Clouds rise, dragons soar, transforming into marquises and kings," which symbolizes the rise of heroes, like clouds gathering and dragons soaring, where those who succeed will reach the position of kings. This metaphor reflects Aosen Instruments' rise to prominence, soaring like a dragon.
The design of the sound hole ring is inspired by the Ming Dynasty jade dragon ring, abstractly transformed to fit modern impressions of the dragon. The fretboard features simple and clear cloud motifs, complementing the dragon design on the headstock, symbolizing the dragon soaring through the clouds, breaking free from constraints, and thriving endlessly.
The backplate features a dragon formed from line combinations, adding a dynamic touch. This not only aligns with the theme but also decorates the back of the guitar, making the overall design more harmonious and well-integrated with the guitar's structure.
